Trends for Wedding Hairstyles 2015

There are always classic hairstyles for weddings, and some never go out of style. This year’s trends sometimes just add a little extra something to a classic do.

A new trend in up dos is keeping them low on the head, near the nape of the neck. You can add little hair accessories, or just leave it plain and chic.

Fancy braiding is also hot this year. You can just have an accent crown around your head, or a few braids with loose, long strands hanging down. This can be a more casual look and great for an outdoor wedding. You can also incorporate braids into an elegant wedding hairstyle.

Adding a fresh flower to your hair that either matches or complements your bouquet can be very sleek , but still stand out. This works well if you have your hair pulled back in a bun, and with some up dos.

Some brides this year are getting rid of the veil and showcasing an up do with a glittery tiara. There are many styles to choose from. If you don’t want something flashy, an elegant headband could also be a great look.

Bob haircuts are always popular. If you want to change it up a bit for your wedding day, just curl the ends under (or over!) and add some lift to your hair. You can also add a small hair accessory that will go with your gown.

If you are getting married during a colder season, consider a very tight, twisted chignon. You want your hair to withstand any inclement weather situations, and still look great for the wedding.

For an outdoor wedding, and especially if you have longer hair, consider leaving your hair down. You can achieve a romantic look with a few waves or curls, but letting your hair hang loose will work really well.
